Frequently Asked Questions for Registration
Welcome to the University of Saskatchewan, Continuing Education in Rehabilitation Science Frequently Asked Questions page. Here, you'll find answers to some of the most common questions about our online courses. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us directly cers.program@usask.ca
The USask Network Services ID (NSID) is a unique identifier that is three letters followed by three numbers (e.g. abc123).
An NSID and password is required to access any CME online course.
When you register for a course, you will be emailed your NSID.
If you have forgotten your NSID, please follow the instructions below to retrieve it:
- Access “My Profile” https://myprofile.usask.ca
- Click on “Forgot password?” (it is beneath the "Sign In" button)
- Click on "I forgot my username"
- Enter your recovery email or phone number you used when registering for the course and click "Continue". (Your recovery email will not be a Usask email address)
- Once you get a successful indicator, you will receive a message or text on your recovery email or phone with the NSID.
- You should be able to sign in with your NSID. If you do not know your password, read the How can I reset my password section.
If you are getting an 'invalid credentials' error, please try resetting your password. If the problem persists, you can contact us by using the "Contact Us" button located at the bottom of this page or email us cers.program@usask.ca
ou can reset your password by following the instructions below:
- Access “My Profile” https://myprofile.usask.ca
- Click on “Forgot password?” (it is beneath the "Sign In" button)
- Click on "I forgot my password"
- Enter your NSID and click on "Continue"
- Click on "Reset my password with my email address"
- Click on the word “Here” to send yourself a reset code to the email address provided previously.
- Enter the reset code into the text box and click verify.
- You will then be able to reset your password.
If you don’t receive your password reset, please check your spam folder in your email as it may have been blocked.
Please note that access to some courses is restricted until the course start date and the course will not appear on your Canvas dashboard until then. For details on when the Canvas course begins, please refer to your confirmation email.
You can access and view your courses, including upcoming ones you are registered for on your Canvas Courses page https://canvas.usask.ca/courses Access by logging in with your University of Saskatchewan NSID and password.
f you are having issues accessing Canvas, we recommend that you use either Chrome or Firefox as your browser and empty your browser cache.
