Kendra Usunier BMR(PT), MClSc
CERS Program Director

Kendra Usunier obtained her BMR(PT) in 2008 from the University of Manitoba. In 2015 she completed an MClSc (Manipulative Physiotherapy) from Western University and additionally obtained her FCAMPT credentials. Her clinical experience has been primarily in private practice, with a special interest in orthopedics and women’s health. Kendra has a passion for ongoing education within her own professional practice and in recent years has enjoyed being part of the MSK curriculum within the MPT program. She is excited to take on the role of Director of Continuing Education in Rehabilitation Science

Kimberly is an accomplished occupational therapist passionate about advancing mental health and addiction practices, having worked extensively as part of a Community Recovery Team within Mental Health & Addiction Services for the Saskatchewan Health Authority. She recently completed her Doctor of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership, with her research stemming from her concerns over the health of Canadian women and her desire to advance clinical practices for vulnerable populations. Kimberly is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals through evidence-based practices, research, and education.

Joy Richards
Program Assistant

Joy Richards is an administrative professional who joined the CERS team to provide support and organization for the unit. Joy gained her experience by designing and implementing large-scale office procedures for companies both in the Yukon and British Columbia. She has partially completed a BSW with an interest in rural women's mental health, and believes an interdisciplinary approach is vital to supporting community well-being. Joy has an enthusiasm for the outdoors and the positive effect nature has on health.
