Leane King BSc CERS Program Coordinator (.5 FTE)
Leane King joins the CPTE team and brings with her experience in research and project management. As a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Health and Human Performance/Exercise Physiology) Leane values the importance of interprofessional education and is eager to contribute to CPTE courses and events. In her other "job", Leane is the owner of a unique photography business called Spell It Photo Art.
Stacey Lovo Grona BScPT, MSc, PhD CERS Program Director (1.0 FTE)
Stacey obtained her BScPT in 1995 at University of Saskatchewan. In 2003 she completed her MSc in the College of Kinesiology and at the moment is working on her PhD in the College of Medicine. Stacey has worked in inpatient, rehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy, with most of her clinical career being spend in orthopaedic outpatients. She has been Program Director of CPTE since 2007.
Keely Shaw BSc CERS Casual Staff
Keely Shaw joins the CPTE team and provides much needed assistance during courses with site setup and onsite registration. Keely completed her BSc. in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2016 and is currently completing her MSc. within the College of Kinesiology, focussing on Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition. When she isn't going to school or helping out different programs, Keely races her bike with the Canadian National Para Cycling Team.
Kendra Usinier BMR(PT), MClSc CERS Curriculum Planner (.23 FTE)
Kendra Usunier obtained her BMR(PT) in 2008 from the University of Manitoba. In 2015 she completed a MClSc (Manipulative Physiotherapy) from University of Western Ontario, and additionally obtained her FCAMPT credentials. Her clinical history has been primarily private practice, with a special interest in orthopaedics and women’s health. Kendra has a passion for ongoing education within her own professional practice and over the recent years has enjoyed being part of the MSK curriculum with in the MPT program.
