Introduction to Myofascial Release

This hands-on course will immediately allow therapists an opportunity to integrate Myofascial Release into their treatment for their patients’ pain and mechanical issues.

Instructor

Jeff Brousseau graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1989.  He began practicing in a clinical orthopaedic setting with a special interest in manual therapy, becoming the first credentialed spinal manipulator in the province.

Jeff became a credentialed instructor in the Canadian Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy System maintaining this designation from 1996 to 2009.  During this time, he began studying Myofascial Release as taught by John Barnes.

While he was integrating myofascial release into his clinic practice, Jeff began developing a course specifically for physical therapists in order to help them easily integrate myofascial release into their clinical practice.  He has taught 34 myofascial release courses to physical therapists while continuing to practice in his own clinic, BROUSSEAU Physical Therapy, in Saskatoon.
