What is Speech-Language Pathology?

Speech-language pathology is a dynamic profession focused on the identification, diagnosis and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders among individuals across the lifespan. Speech-language pathologists may practice independently or as part of an inter-professional team, in public and private sectors. The scope of practice includes a broad range of clinical and other professional services.

Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC)

SAC is the national professional association supporting and representing speech-language pathologists, audiologists and communication health assistants; their purpose is to advance the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology to optimize communication, health and education outcomes for Canadians. New graduates from accredited Canadian programs in speech-language pathology are eligible for reduced membership rates. 

Speech-Language & Audiology Canada - Saskatchewan Branch (SAC Saskatchewan)

SAC Saskatchewan is the advocacy branch for speech-language pathologists and audiologists in Saskatchewan.

The College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK), formerly SASLPA is the regulatory body for all speech-language pathologists and audiologists in Saskatchewan.

 
Canadian Entry-to-Practice Exams for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology 

The successful completion of the Canadian Entry-to-Practice Exams (CETP Exams - AUD/SLP) is one of the required criteria for registration and licensing in many Canadian jurisdictions.
