NeuroSask: Active and Connected
NeuroSask is a Saskatchewan led initiative through the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Medicine in collaboration with the MS Society of Canada, Parkinson Canada, Spinal Cord Injury Saskatchewan, Office of the SK MS Clinical Research Chair, and Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation.
This drop-in, virtual program is tailored to people with neurological conditions. We provide physiotherapy-guided movement, expert information on health and wellness, and social connection.

Details | A seated movement class (led by a physiotherapist) focused on alignment, seated postural control, body awareness, range of motion and muscle activation. Class includes some resistance training and cardio. | Stretching class designed to help with range of motion, pain and spasticity management | An educational session with a guest expert on a health and wellness topic |
*A note about time zones: There was a time change with daylight savings on March 10. From March 2024 - November 2024, NeuroSask will still begin at 2:00pm Saskatchewan time. If you are in BC (Revelstoke and west) this will be at 1pm. If you are in AB (or in BC east of Revelstoke) this will be 2pm. If you are in MB this will be 3pm. If you are in ON or QB this is 4pm. If you are in NB, NS or PEI this is 5pm. If you are in NFLD this is 5:30pm.
Using Zoom: This video provides a brief overview of using Zoom including how to access meeting links, change your username, raise your hand, and mute/unmute your mic.
