SAC is the national professional association supporting and representing speech-language pathologists, audiologists and communication health assistants; their purpose is to advance the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology to optimize communication, health and education outcomes for Canadians. New graduates from accredited Canadian programs in speech-language pathology are eligible for reduced membership rates.

Canadian Entry-to-Practice Exams for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
The successful completion of the Canadian Entry-to-Practice Exams (CETP Exams - AUD/SLP) is one of the required criteria for registration and licensing in many Canadian jurisdictions.
Master of Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) Program
The Master of Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) program at the University of Saskatchewan is the newest speech-language pathology program in Canada. This 27-month program is aligned with the Academic Equivalency Framework created by Canadian audiology and speech-language pathology regulators. The program provides students with a comprehensive education, combining academic coursework with clinical experiences. Students will complete six clinical placements in program (over 1,000 total hours) which will include the minimum 350 supervised clinical hours of direct client contact activities required by CSASK. This program is unique in Canada, focusing on the needs of Saskatchewan’s rural, remote, and Indigenous communities, emphasizing cultural humility throughout.
