Procedures and guidelines regarding leaves of absence, types of leaves (e.g. compassionate, medical, parental and other) can be found on the College of Graduate and Post Doctoral studies (CGPS) website.
- The Graduate Chair is the Director of the School of Rehabilitation Science
- The Director or designate has the authority to approve a first-time leave request for up to 12 months for medical or compassionate reasons
- All leave requests must first be discussed with the Director or designate prior to submission of requests to CGPS as per the procedures and guidelines
- Authorization by the Director or designate is required before the CGPS can process any request
