Lara is the Clinical Coordinator for the Master of Occupational Therapy program. In her role, she is dedicated to providing students with high-quality clinical placement experiences while supporting clinical preceptors throughout the province. Lara is passionate about sharing her enthusiasm for occupational therapy and mentoring students as they transition into practice.
She brings 14 years of public sector clinical experience across a variety of practice areas, with particular interests in geriatric rehabilitation, dementia care, and specialized seating. Committed to advancing the profession, Lara has volunteered with both the Saskatchewan College of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of Saskatchewan's seasons through activities such as skiing and camping.
