Bio

Dr. Hope Jervis-Rademeyer is an Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan and a physical therapist. She obtained a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Toronto in 2022 and a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2017. Her research interest is in the clinical translation of neurorestorative approaches (i.e., brain-computer interface, epidural stimulation, exoskeleton, activity-based therapy) to rehabilitate individuals with neurological conditions, with a focus on spinal cord injury (SCI). Currently, her research also develops processes (i.e., clinical practice guidelines, national SCI model of care) to facilitate implementation of these approaches.

Dr. Jervis-Rademeyer is the creator and co-host of the podcast Spinal Moves: Canadian conversations about ABT. She has also produced other videos and podcasts designed to improved people’s understanding about topics related to SCI.
