Delaney is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Instructor with the School of Rehabilitation Science. She earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina before completing her Master of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alberta.
Prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan, Delaney spent 11 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Saskatoon Public Schools and has also worked in private practice. Her clinical interests include school-based practice, pediatric communication disorders, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), literacy development, interdisciplinary practice, and evidence-based intervention.
She currently serves on the Council of the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK) where she contributes to the regulation and advancement of the profession.
Delaney is passionate about preparing future speech-language pathologists to become confident, compassionate clinicians who can bridge evidence with the realities of practice in Saskatchewan's communities. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, fishing, reading, and dancing.
